TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
